About Amanda L. Sage
Amanda Sage is Owner and Principal Designer of Sojourner Sage LLC, a home décor and lifestyle design studio based in Columbus, Ohio.
A creative since her womb days, Amanda opened Sojourner Sage in 2021 after years of creating quote-inspired designs as gifts and business giveaways. Although professionally a graphic artist, she is a Crayola devotee and boasts an impressive fabric stash.
Amanda is a determined risk-taker who has already crammed a lot into her almost four decades on earth. Sojourner Sage is her fifth business, having previously started Gong Gong Communications, a full-service marketing and design firm, World Piece Emporium, a wholesale fabric and craft business specializing in fair trade and sustainable products, and other creative-related companies.
A 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University, Amanda double-majored in political science and international studies. Upon graduating, she moved to Ghana where she worked for Global Mamas, a women’s entrepreneurial and Fair Trade organization. In this position, she founded a new cooperative of bead and jewelry makers, designed textile patterns, and helped organize volunteers.
Amanda is a passionate supporter of literacy, international development, and women entrepreneurs. She is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Friends of the Columbus Metropolitan Library and a past board member of the Columbus Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Amanda is a firm believer in living life to its fullest and making personal fulfillment a priority. To that end, she loves sleeping, reading, cooking, baking, and sports. She is madly in love with the State of Ohio but also adores traveling to random, interesting places around the world.
